Logos

Logos are the bread and butter for many designers. But they are often the passion as well. Adequate research, the creative satisfaction of brainstorming, the lightning bolt of inspiration all coming together in one small bite fraught with meaning. The logo is the Amuse Bouche of the designer’s repertoire. (Click for more)

The International Friends Club wanted a new identity that avoided cliche imagery. This typecentric logo, reminiscent of a passport stamp, was chosen as the final design. 

This logo, inspired by construction vehicles,  was designed for an imaginary app idea that used SEO technology to locate copyright information for design images.

This logo was designed for a hypothetical dark beer crafted by Tsing Tao brewery. The night crane with the moon in its beak suggests both the Chinese origin and the dark caramel color of the product.

This logo example for "Ivory Coast Travel" makes use of an African antelope silhouette to suggest exotic locales and gracious amenities.

This sample logo for a travel agency uses colors and forms that are reminiscent of the golden age of airline travel. Multidirectional arrows indicate that ETA spans the globe while metallic blues capture the idea of a plane soaring through sky.

Tweetsie Brewery needed a logo that called to mind their roots as a Western-themed park while moving away from the kid-friendly reputation of that park. This Gibson Girl style illustration was Inspired by the classic ballad, Frankie and Johnny.
