Logos
2017
Logos are the bread and butter for many designers. But they are often the passion as well. Adequate research, the creative satisfaction of brainstorming, the lightning bolt of inspiration all coming together in one small bite fraught with meaning. The logo is the Amuse Bouche of the designer’s repertoire. (Click for more)
Wake Tech Campaign
2017
When asked to create a poster to emphasize the real-world benefits of a Wake Tech education, I created a money tree. I added elements of strong color and whimsey to ensure an eye catching design that would stand out from a distance, compelling a closer look. (Click for more)

Photography
2017
I love portrait photography, and in a way I consider all my photographs to be portraits. Whether animals, architecture, landscapes, or even abstracts, I strive to find the "face" of a subject so that I can present it in a way that promotes connection and understanding. (Click for more)

Illustration
2017

More Than Mayberry
2017
This multi-page mailer was designed to promote tourism in Mount Airy and surrounding areas. I used imagery and articles that reflected the small town roots of this area while at the same time shedding light on the new and exciting industries and opportunities for adventure that currently exist in Northeastern N.C. Frozen Fountain in (mostly) Black and White
2014
During an unexpected cold snap, I went out at midnight, no hat, no gloves to shoot images of this frozen fountain. Inspired by the results, I returned to the site several times over the course of a week to capture images from day to night, from clear to foggy, from frozen to thawed, and from as many different angles and perspectives as I could find.
